Lost in the coverage of the decline of American brands in Consumer Reports, is that both the Mini Cooper and Mini Countryman have made it to the Recommended List (at the end of the press release).

This hurts my brain!

The title and picture are so appropriate I don’t know what to say. I’m shocked. I’m impressed.

I trust Consumer Reports for solid advice on whether or not to buy a Compaq Prolinea over a Packard Bell 486SX, but their car ranking methodology is suspect.

Isn’t “ Reliable BMW Product” an example of an oxymoron?

The 3rd Gen Minis are proving to be pretty bullet proof and are really helping the brand recover from the disaster that was the early 2nd Gen cars.
